anime-> manga or manga-> anime : which order do you prefer?

If there are both, anime and manga, do you prefer reading manga and then watching anime or watching anime first?

Most of the time i watch the anime first, but for some cases i started reading the manga. And i need to say that most of the time the manga is better

Manga is always better but I'll watch the anime first for character profiles (hair/clothing color, voices, etc.).

I prefer to watch the anime first and then move on to the manga if the anime was captivating enough.

If you started with the manga first there's almost no reason to move on to anime as you'll be back at the beginning again.

By starting with anime, one could always move on to the manga and continue with the story.

I usually watch anime over manga but almost always the manga is better. And you can move on to it after the anime like people before me said.

Anime > Manga ... Only if it was good enough to make me want to read it. Most anime stop way before the manga ends so you can continue it. However I read the start of the manga as well, because there is always something different compared to the anime and makes things more interesting, or more information gets filled in, that they leave out in the anime.
