It depends what kind of Slice of Life you are looking for. As everyone here has said, Clannad is the best I've seen but others include Minami-Ke, Lucky Star, Working!!, Seitokai Yakuindomo, Toradora, Azumanga Daioh, Mahoraba, H2O - Footprints in the sand, Ichigo Mashimaro, Josei Kousei, Kanon (proced by Key who produced Clannad), Myself Yourself, Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, School Rumble, Sora no Manimani, True Tears, White Album

IMO it is much easier if the TV is inside the house; that way you don't have to keep looking outside the window to watch Lucky Star. LOL.
