I was curious about this, I have a friend who really liked Saiyuri from Kanon for her constant referring to herself in 3rd person, so I ask you what other anime have characters who do this?

3rd as in mentioning their own name? for ex: "Alice wants a cookie"? need just a bit of confirmation. or they can say "we" for them self as well?

Dita??? not in the dubbed version. There are a couple more but they aren't main caracters like Saiyuri so they are hard to remember. Have to give it so more thought.

Instead of saying "I", they use their own name to refer to themself.

its a japnese thing to refer to your self in 3rd person, if an adult or teenager uses the third person it is actually deemed rather childish, also it is also considered posh to refer to yourself as 'we' aka they say waraware i think, well thats what ive gathered from anime and watching japanese stuffs

Yes this is quite true, but not just for Japanese. It is how most royals, such as the queen of England refer to themselves. As in "We are not amused".

That reminds me I think Kurenai Shinkurou from Kurenai also refers to herself in the third person at times.
