Seeing as this thread has stagnated, duratrix and i decided (over the IRC), to get it started regardless. The first SSOTM(Short Story of the Month) will be put up soon, most likely(within a day at least).
I will take helm of the competition, if that is alright.
Thankfully, most of the details have been decided on already.
It will be monthly, alternating genre's in a set order.
The theme will be free-style for this first one, and the reward will be to get into a SSOTM hall of fame where your works will be stored and read by all, and to chose the theme for next month.
The length is already set as well, 200-500 words. If this proves to be too big of a restriction or too large a minimum, we can work around it. it's the first SSOTM after all, it's variable.
If anyone has any objections, please reply. If not, i will go ahead and start the thread within a day.
