Musician Review:
Opening: The guitar notes and such are quite very simple (Basically it's almost just "riffs"), but the bass and keyboard are very well played, same goes for the keyboard.
There's "Yamaha" written on the Drums. I heard Yamaha drums are awesome.
The bass looks like a good model, problably it's one from Ibanez. Its sound is great and it's a very beatiful bass
The keyboard is the high quality sampler and syntethizer "Korg Triton", which is a legend between all keyboard players. It's easy to use and there's a USB MIDI controller, so you can easily connect it with a computer and use other instruments and features (Hatsune Miku included)
BTW, on the opening, the girl's playing using "arpeggio". Anyway, wish I had that keyboard...
The eletric guitar the girl's using is a "Les Paul" model (Problably it's a generic version of Gibson's model). It's the world's best guitar in my opinion and most of the guitarists think that too!
All the background songs are made on keyboard and they're very good to hear.
There's a reference to 'Guitar Hero" and such games when the tape with a guitar strum appears.
At 19:20, the animation is surely following the real sounds. It's a very warm melody, and it's easy to play.
The ending has a different keyboard, it's a Keytar from KORG.
BTW, The ending is much better than the opening in my opinion. Especially because the voice is MUCH BETTER.
Otaku Review:
The art is freaking great, as expected of the studio, this surely looks just like Suzumya Haruhi.
The staff of the anime sure did a great work, the art is flawless, the comedy is good and the music is great.
The story is just as I expected, nothing more or less
There's a reference to "Detroid Metal City, D.M.C", the death metal anime.
This is going to be interesting since the main character will need to learn how to play guitar.
Overall opinion:
This series is going to be quite promissing. There's many things related to other animes, companies, songs, persons and products. But there's no where in the world where a band starts with instruments like that. They're all top of line instruments.
And the story is quite good and it looks like the genre is comedy, slice of life, musical, and there may be some drama in near future.
