tutorials are there to teach you how to implement different styles and ideas. You may not like them, but you can learn a lot from them. Lighting can be done at least 4 different ways on photoshop. Then there is also focals, types of smudging techniques, implementing C4D's, and so on. I don't have the ability or patience to teach people step by step how to improve, however I can point you in the right direction.
