[Gloomshade]

I came across another little known anime called Tactics that turned out to be really good despite leaving me somewhat disappointed at the end. In many ways it's similar to Natsume Yuujinchou in that it features a protagonist who can also see spirits and runs around vanquishing them. Unlike Natsume though Kantarou is quite the accomplished exorcist and doesn't spend the entire series bemoaning his childhood. He also has a guardian spirit of sorts and even better, which makes this anime superior imo, Kantarou is friends with a female fox spirit. This isn't a romance anime however as he treats her more like a sister than a lover, but I like fox ears so it deserves accolades in my book.

While I claim to be disappointed with the ending its more from being sad at seeing a great series end as opposed to any dissatisfaction. There is so much more of the story that remains to be told that the ending, while great, left me wanting more. While this might sound like one long ass recommendation what I really want to know is if anyone else has seen this anime and what they thought about it?
