long distance space travel is probably something that will never be done it takes 7-8 minutes for light to get to earth from the sun and a little over 4 years from the nearist star Alpha Centauri which in distance is 5,873,012,352,000 miles (5.9 Trillion mile). and in my view the technolagy to trave at the speed of light will be unatanable. so while i belive they well could be alians i very much dote we will ever meet
