I really couldn't enjoy Gantz. It was fairly obvious that the sexual content was trying a little too hard to get a reaction, everything moved as slow as molasses (do we really need 20 minutes of a character trying to decide whether or not to shoot a gun?), and the main character was overly bitchy. Plus, I don't like the idea of a premise like the supposed "fact" that people would rather watch someone die on a subway track than try to help them. That's just bullshit and clearly the creator of the manga has some unrealistic troubles with humanity to work out.
Oh, and then throw in the lame dialogue (talking about the sub here) and we've got a recipe for pure mediocrity.
