If you want to find out, what anime is good to watch then I would recommend doing the following: This is my advice so you don't have to generally follow it. Of course, you may want to try watching a few episodes and see if you like it or not regardless of the ratings:

Anyway, onto my advice.

1: Check the review base on that anime series and look at the ratings. If that certain anime series gets around 8/10 or more, then that shows this series is worth a watch. Of course ratings can drop or go over the time episodes progressed so if you see something you don't like, then either drop it or give it a chance to watch more. However if ratings go down further per episode, then might as well drop because there are better series out there you can find.

2. Any series between 7 to 8/10 is a "gamble" to watch meaning it can be good and bad at times. Other series getting under 7/10 is bad and not worth the watch. Remember: Just because the animation looks good or gets around this rating, doesn't mean the whole anime in concept, will be good. "Appearances can be deceiving."

3. When watching a long anime series, be aware that there will be "Fillers" in that certain anime series as well as these type of anime series have a slow progression in storyline. If you happen to be watching one of these, then you may feel free to watch on but on my perspective, I drop these kind of series. EG. Naruto.

Well thats it from me when it comes to my advice on picking the right anime thats right for you

as for recommendations, I guess... don't watch anything that gets under a 7/10 and you'll be fine.

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] has the best ratings for every series/producers as well as ratings for every episode so I check there before I pick up a series. of course, better then ANN in my opinion.
