1. How can I play the files I download here?/Why don’t I see any subtitles?
Download the Combined Community Codec Pack (Make sure to uninstall other codec packs such as K-lite first) for Windows, MPlayer for *nix, and MPlayerOSX Extended for Mac. Do NOT use VLC.
2. I have installed CCCP and can see the subtitles, however the video lags and/or is out of sync with the audio.
Try closing any unneeded applications. If this does not help, see this page to improve playback speed on Windows. If Playback is still unacceptable, you may try converting the file yourself by using a program like this one.
How do I download using Torrents?
Use a client like µTorrent. A guide to speeding up your torrents can also be found here.
4. When will (Name of show) come out?
AnimeTake does_NOT_subtitle shows, therefore, we do_NOT_know when any specific show will be released. If you wish to know, please seek out the information yourself by asking the sub group on their website or IRC channel.
5. Why did you guys stop posting (Name of show)?
AnimeTake has been forced to remove a number of shows due to DMCAs (Digital Millennium Copyright Act).
6. Is it ok to use AdBlock on this site?
No. AnimeTake offers a free service to the public, without advertisements AnimeTake wouldn’t exist today.
7. If I did not find the answer to my question here, is it alright to ask in the comments?
