No you don’t need to have seen the original anime series and/or movie as this is a complete remake. In fact the plot in this movie diverges fairly drastically from the original.

-> unzip
-> click .exe
-> click ‘join’
-> ‘input file’
-> find the .001 file and the rest will follow…

Hey apparently I’ve living under a rock and havnt watched the series. Will is this a recap or do i hav downloading to do before i watch this?

Eva was the very first anime i searched up, i immediately got hooked. but alas the end was extremely disappointing even if you include the later released cover up movies. i havent touched it ever since but i think i might just give it a shot again with these new movies and hope that i dont get disappointed again. anyways “goes off to watch it”

This movie isnt a remake of the previous movies at all. The storyline follows End of Evangelion. These movies are based in the recreated world that Shinji made in the End of Evangelion. This is hinted by what kawaru said at the end of the movie…

great this is will be another anime i’ll add to my growing list of things to watch.

@Qingnien, there is no 2.0 or 2.1. The first movie is 1.11, or 1.0. The second is this one, known as 2.0 or 2.22.

any1 know if UTW’s Avi is subbed? cuz ive dled this movie from like 20 diff places…and everytime i burn it the movie either slows down in places or its a cam rip or its raw….and to every1 who loves this anime…:D go eva fans lol…and the end of evangelion movie that i have she doesnt say “disgusting” auska says “i feel terrible”…but there are so many variations to her ending line “i feel sick” “your digusting” and all that, that you dont have to take it so literal towards an unhappy ending…im just guessing that she feels like crap cuz she prolly felt her eva getting torn apart from the 9 evas that attacked NERV….anyways thats my little tidbit info…peace easy eva fans!!! :3
