Someone should get them to sub Naru-…nvm…
August 7th, 2009 at 5:33 am
They should probably consider Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari if they want to do anythig meaningful, however this is also coming from a group that says one piece and soul eater sucks.

Is the mkv coming out ??

Seems AVI haters are as stupid as people who only download AVI.
Dattebayo releases x264 inside AVI.
So:
1. You can be sure you won’t get shitty variable frame rate shit.
2. You ain’t effortlessly stealing their subs and muxing them to a different raw/encode.
3. The quality is the same as mp4/mkv.

Hi, you have no idea what you are talking about and timecop is a fucking retard.
1. VFR is a fucking good thing and you’re retarded if you think differently.
2. MKV/MP4 don’t magically remove hardsubs. Also, not wanting to watch eyecancer is totally a bad thing. Makes sense to me.
3. No. Just no. AVI is a shitty container with shitty h.264 support. More than half the shit that makes h.264 worth using is either fucked over or just plain unable to be implemented.
It can’t be that hard to at least try to understand something before actually attempting to speak as though you understand it. I’m gonna go ahead and igve you a link to a wonderful little website that you don’t seem to have heard of: http://www.google.com

hey mates, don’t say AVI is shitty
why:
1. its for old crappy pc who can’t upgrade their machine.
2. lesser mb file means more future hardsk space
3. it can play in a shitty dvd-player, even in an SD card slot or usb
4. Not all pc (in the fucking whole-wide world) can play on their pc an MKV/mp4 unless they can install a codec pack but due to an old crappy pc (like PI & PII) well gud luck mate!
5. AVI can easily mass produced in a dvd to make a profit like whats happening around southeast asia.
6. Whatever!!!,,,its fucking damn shitty people’s choose, unless you can “GEASS” them, commanding get yourself FUCKED-UP u motherfucking old wanker…use MKV/MP4 fool!!!

I’m not promoting the usage of AVI, I know it’s shit.
But the visual quality doesn’t suffer because a container is different. It only suffers when a shitty codec like xvid is used.
VFR can be shit, but if I had things my way, all groups would DeDup (drop duplicate frames) on their releases.
August 7th, 2009 at 8:40 am
Well, Marvs2006 you are right, like it matters every one can download what he wants and watch in what ever format they want :)

In your last comment you didn’t seem to know the difference between hardsubs and an AVI.
You still don’t seem to understand that many of the aspects that make h.264 superior to cannot be implemented in AVI, and can be in MP4/MKV.
Of course VFR, like anything when used wrong, can be shit. Dropping dupes, using MKV, ordered chapters, completely softsubbed, no retarded after effects karaokes, no more overfiltering, etc. These are all things we can dream about, but likely aren’t going to be widely implemented in our fansubs soon.

Well, I was only aiming at people who don’t actually know the reason why they prefer MKV, other than the erroneous belief that it’ll always look better visually.
I’m glad Taka release Naruto in mp4, so at least so of them no longer think that the mp4 is somehow inferior visually.
