Yes, DB slaps a h264 encoded stream into an avi container… but they are using higher compression, so all the gains are almost lost anyway in comparison to just using an xvid encoded stream.

I would really like a premium MU upload of the softsub version lol. ZU is being overloaded atm and I can only get 600kb/s from it, while with MU probably 5-6mb/s.

Until some time ago I got full speed from Zomgupload(~2MB/s) but now I only get 30-40kb/s per connection(Zomgupload allows 2 at a time) so just 60-80kb/s.

I think I can beat you all on the “awful” speeds from zomg: I honestly can’t recall ever seeing as much as 10 kb/s from them. Even on old stuff.

anyways, zomgupload only has 3 fileservers, which is enough for decent speeds for 300 people downloading at once… in contrary to megaupload which has like 1500 faster servers

Just reached the download limit for zomgupload with the mkv files. Zomgupload has a limit after 4GB and all the files are over 5GB together. An alternative hoster wouldn’t be a bad idea. But I think there would be a problem with the filesize for other hosters because they don’t support ~1GB files(at least without premium)

Or use 7z. After install, open the first file and just drag those files out. 7z will do the rest in terms of stitching them.

I suspect “preliminary” is referring to the fact that they didn’t get around to translating the on screen text yet (emails, phone text messages, etc.). No big deal to me as I can never read those tiny translated texts anyway.

Use torrents people…I usually do DDL, but for giant files like this I use torrents. Don’t have to worry about cap limits etc, and I was hitting my max DL speed…350kb/s.

The encode they used for the 1080p was ridiculous because it was avi so it had to use a lot of resources to keep quality.

i have notice that some people are having audio issues. I d/l the 1080p version and every min or so the audio cuts out then back in. any fix for that as of yet?

If you’re using CCCP and still having problems, open the CCCP settings and disable flac audio decoding. Then open MPC’s options and select flac under internal filters. If that doesn’t work then http://i42.tinypic.com/jqn5w9.jpg

I’m a newby at this 3 part DDL. I was able to view part 1, but couldn’t view part 2 or part 3 at all. It had a funny format .avi.002 and .avi.003. Is there a separate program to combine the 3 files before viewing or how do I view part 2 and 3? Please help and explain in detail. I’m new at this and am confused. Thanks in advance.

avi cannot viewed separately because the id tag is in the beginning of the file, u should join these part (part 1-2-3-..) using ‘hjsplit or winrar’ first.

Audio and video are screwed up. And it skips the entire time.
Would someone please put up a AVI or MKV thats like 800 MB instead of this HD hard to get to work one.
I downloaded both the single link avi and the split files avi and both do the same thing, constantly skip. Everyone seems to be having problems. :(
