Well the movie might not necessarily be a sequel.It could be a shortened version of the TV series.Yeah,like the Gurren Lagaan movies and the Macross movies.

It looks like like Production I.G is treating the theatrical version as a seperate project and they are pretty tight lipped about it.

Whatever the film is, it’ll be awesome and waiting is gonna suck :P

Queen’s Blade is not the best thing this season by any stretch of the imagination, but neither is it as bad as a lot of people make it out to be IMO.

Well, I imagine that it murders my friends and family , but admittedly, while it is some of the worst shit ever conceived, it probably can’t do that. Probably.

I didn’t think such a short anime would get a theater release. I can’t imagine it would pull in a lot of money, but I hope it does well, and doesn’t f up the series.

It’s going to be close to a year before it is subbed, that is terrible for me.

I like this but i would by no means state it as the best of the season.
With 07Ghost(4eps) K-ON(5eps) and Phantom(3eps)(have high hopes for that)leading as my favs, this EoTE comes with middle of the pack shows that could go either way.
Guin Saga(3eps), Pandora Hearts(3eps), Saki(3eps)(though no clue about mahjong but thats whats got me interested) hatsukoi Limited(3eps) and Basquash(3eps) to name a few.
With the likes of queens blade(2eps), Slap Up Party(3eps), and Shangri-la(2eps) coming in lowest so far.
Waiting on desire.

People who put k-on in their favorites keep thinking that their opinion is valid. What’s up with that?

Lulz K-on. Phantom and Pandora Hearts (despite the lack of HD) dominate that show, as well as Brotherhood and Kai.

I like k-on, the music the feeling, all of it, sort of reminds me of lucky star but with a plot.

I did name 3 completely different shows, to compare K-On to Phantom and Pandora Hearts cant be done, just too different. Same for Brotherhood and Kai(assuming DB Kai) though i never got round to watching all of FMA, so i havent touched brotherhood. Just watched ep 4 of Phantom, it was awesome.

Anyones opinion is valid, so long as its their own opinion, and not just going with the masses. I loved Lucky Star and as i said K-ON feels similiar. I watched Lucky Star a year after it aired, so i made my own opinions about it then, as i do now with K-ON.

I dont feel like turning this into a full arguement, i will read whatever you say next, but i wont be replying, just waiting on Desire.

Shangri-la is retarded how do people like it? Higashi no Eden is… my favorite of the season, tied with Phantom Requiem. Saki and Pandora Hearts are pretty good. 07-Ghost is pretty good, not liking the homo shroud though… but it’s better than the transsexual shroud in Shangri-la… Senjou no Valkyria is decent, as well as Tayutama (which I judged too early)

Phantom 5th episode completely fails.

Episode 1 and 2 seemed so promised, This just turned out on another Bourne show, the mystery is just fucking ridiculous and the over rushed love; typical. Not going to drop at this point since is just 11 episode.

Hayate is ofc good(Nagi ftw), basara i like, i love all 3kingdoms stuff, really find it interesting. Valkyria is also pretty interesting, i have no clue about the game, so will be nice to see what happens.

Mashiro Mito is good enough reason to like Tayutama. Training with Hinako is well, its bad, yet i bet it will make a huge profit, for something that cost next to nothing in comparison to other shows, since it was mainly recycled scenes over and over. I watched the full version, and spent the whole time staring at her boobs(almost made it worth the 20+mins i spent watching it)

One of the reasons i love anime is because Anime is not a copypaste from real action show/movie. Because no real action show/movie plot could ever compare to a anime plot. This is just another fucking copy paste from spy shows lol. It feels so generic.This is my opinion anyway.

well yes, the genre might be the same, and also the condition of the protagonist as well, (lost of memory, trying to find out about his past) i’ll give you that, but it’s not like they threw their creativeness out the window and desided to completely copy every detail of the story of bourne i know i don’t have to explain how they differ right? and as for the show being generic, are you kidding me? its as original and as interesting as it could get moreover, every episode is packed with story that it avoids the usual cliche of anime stories that are predictable, this one always keeps you guessing, so, im sorry, but i can’t agree with the generic thing.^^

agreed. Fact is this is not a Bourne spinoff. For one, Bourne was not a comedy. And what good is an anime without comedy? Even the mass-murderous Higurashi series had comedy. The only thing I would say that resembles any sort of spy movie is Juiz.

You saying Higashi no Eden is a tweaked copy of the Bourne series is like me saying the Bourne series is a tweaked copy of James Bond. But it’s not, is it?

Episode 1 – Desire wins (it was close though, we only win because gg fucked up the whole “savior” thing and copied us)
Episode 2 – gg wins
Episode 3 – Desire wins
Episode 4 – tie (Desire has a much better script, much more organized wording while gg murdered us in terms of typesetting lol)

Watch some gg fanatic come at us now.

Speed-wise though. gg pwned us on all counts.
That chart i just put up there is only in terms of quality when comparing the us and gg.

btw in case anyone wonders, that “savior” thing i said earlier is a major theme in eden so yeah it was a mighty fuck up
