This seems to be a very interesting show and its cool being in America and seeing American things that are real like cvs pharmacy, and the national spy museum. the only thing that’s hard for me to get past is the animation of the girl.

Desire, I don’t mean to come off as rude, but there are a few translation errors in your subs…
The one that was the worst was mistaking “high school” (koukou) for “university/college” (daigaku)… If the character is born in 1989, and the anime takes place in 2010, then of COURSE she’s not on a trip for a HIGH SCHOOL graduation… She’d be a 21 year old senior in HS!
Like I said, there were others, but this translation-mistake was the worst, since I believe it completely changes the plot of the story, as it reduces the age the main character by four years!
Incidentally, GG-subs did NOT make this huge mistake. However, your version has a higher-quality sound and picture than GG-subs’, so I’d be watching yours even if GG-subs DID decide to keep this one.

Well, even with the age mistake, it’s okay, because the anime is awesome, regardless! The first episode definitely got me interested in the plot, and the OP music and video is awesome.

Uhhhh being born in 1989 doesn’t mean you’re automatically 20 this year. Lets say someone is born in november 1989… they won’t turn 20 until the very end of this year.

And seriously guys it doesn’t matter how old she is; all thats important is she’s old enough to know what a johnny looks like.

For anyone else who wants to further the discussion/debate on age, I would like to kindly direct your attention to 18:32 (gg) / 18:17 (Desire), at which point Saki very clearly says “university/college” in Japanese. There is no “Washington” in the sentence before that, either.

If one chooses to be picky, 大学 actually means university and not college, unless by 大学 Saki means 短大 (short university by direct translation; usually have programs that last two years). Of course, in North America, “university” and “college” have almost become interchangeable words by now.

The credits are really cool! The opening is pretty neat too. The story looks like it could be really great. I’m pretty pumped about this show. Looks good.

this show is awesome. and you cant even call it Engrish. those must have been American voice actors because that policewoman was definately black. i grew up in a house full of black women i can tell. lol. anyway the animation is excellant and i like the characters a lot. going on my must watch list.

gg is best, and one of their subbers hangs out on a site I visit. He has shown vastly superior knowledge of Japanese, desire seem like amateurs… and the Jason Bourne reference fluff up is just dumb
