Durarara is not on Bluray as far as I know and DVDs are not 720p so no there is no 720p. I’m sure someone will eventually make a failtastic upscale though.

Funny, when I click on the square at the top right of my player, it ends up in 1080p.

If you’re not happy with 480p, then just don’t download it, you can’t post anything that doesn’t exist. Koga typed “This is one of the 2 DVD extra episodes.”
If you can read, it says “DVD”, with other words NOT Blu-ray.
And the standard for DVD=480p.
The Blu-Ray never came out, with other words 720p or more doesn’t exist.
By the way, I’m not certain that there exist 720p in the first place, I noticed when watching the series that the 720p is just an enlarged version of the 480p.
This happens more( reason why gg used 480p for the High School of the Dead, when I watched the Blu-Ray I noticed the difference).

I downloaded the file uploaded up there, and it looks NOTHING, as in video quality, like the series. So yeah, it being a DVD means there will be not 720p, but a better 480p is totally plausible.

yes a better 480p is possible. the video dose seem worse then what they usually show. But its HS, there is always a better video source.

Things such as that will be found in all countries. ;P Many shows are in fact just upscaled by the broadcasters. The show is made in 480p then stretched to 1080p. Yes 1080p since japan dose not broadcast anything in 720p.

Sometimes DVD=576p. based on video length. You also cannot find out any different between 480p 720p and 1080p if your monitor is smaller than 17″. If so then you better watch 480p.

well you also have to look at the file size,when done right. sure 480p doesnt take up much space, but if its only 50 megs for a 24 minute feature? errr…
