For this episode, you need a microscope to read the subs in the Freeze-subs version.

Suppido subs usually have terrible translation and completely missing lines.

In a way, you have to be thankful that the plot in Dragon Ball isn’t complex so you can still understand what’s going on.

duh it’s a problem on your end. Freeze’s subs are fine here. That’s the 720p version on smplayer linux.

I had a look at the .ass subtitle file inside the mkv and it’s got the wrong settings. It’s the same .ass file used for the 720p version therefore the font size is way too small.

It’s either a mistake or just laziness.

Finally, the real fight begins next episode.
