I am really starting to wonder when will the subbers start releasing 1080p tvrip episodes (I saw 1080p raws of most the recent shows).

I don’t think any of the anime aired in Japan is even in 720p let alone 1080p. I think all of that stuff is just upscaled.

i dont think 1080p is a good idea since the download would probably be double and the files might well be over the 500mb file size

only 500mb, i’ve seen horrible encodes of 720p higher than that

A few shows are aired in HD (one of them is K-On which is aired in 1440×1080)

Guys do please realise thaat commie subs is doing it in 720p, they just release a few days later. Now Taka subs is subbing it as well, though they just started so they’re still at ep 1. Commie subs are fast and always up to date, with 720p quality. So they’re the way to go ^_^

you know, if tv is streaming show in 1080p it doesnt mean that it is in 1080p, in (almost) every case its just upscaled 480p or 720p thats why none of fansubbers release 1080p that looks like shit

this one isn’t aired at tv at first, it’s streamed on net (yeah you can see that on youtube or funimation site) that’s why it’s only 360p with hardsubs (that’s how funimation release this)

Others series have an internet release sometimes already subbed before it airs with a 720p quality. Therefore those get a 360p subbed release earlier than its 720p
