It’s hard to follow, that’s for sure. The main character changes sides so many times it’s dizzying.

But I really hate unfinished stories so I hope they continue it.

That ending made no sense whatsoever. You can really tell that cut the last few episodes short.

Still, they left it completely open so a 2nd series is entirely possible, but I highly doubt one will ever be made as this show isn’t really all that popular.

This anime wasn’t popular because there is no “moe moe” thing.

Sucks this is ending and it wasent as popular as the harem/moe animes of the season. One of the best ones I have watched. At least the Manga is actually popular, thats some justice.

nah there will be a 2nd season i was on the anime offical site if u can read japanese by all means head there and read what alot the directors and producers put together to much to list here and it was a popular series according to all there stuff there was just no offical release date for the 2nd series

I agree w/ jPF on the episode 23 part. There was absolutely no connection between the scenes prior to the fight and yet, there it is! Some random fight between Ryner and Astal!

The ending of this episode gives a clear sign that it will be a Season 2, So i really hope that a season 2 is coming, and this is one of the best non Harem series i have seen!

I totally agree. It’s maybe the “in my days” syndrome but, hey seriously,today there is to much moe moe shit and animes are getting shittier every season.

By the way this 24th episode was full of non – sense, what did i just watched ? I Really hope a second season to catch up.

Alright knowing what happens I’ll try not to spoil anything. This entire series was just the prequel to introduce the characters and the world, the plot gets so insanely awesome they would have to be incredibly stupid to not go through with it and make the 2nd / 3rd seasons. <3 ferris

To be completely honest, I didn’t get to confused towards the end. Yeah, a few things came out wierd, but if you thought about the hints and leaks from the previous episodes things made some sense. For instance where his father came from, why his mother appeared and stated its not the right time. etc. etc. Things DID wrap up way to quickly, and a few more episodes would have cleared things up entirely. Oh well, here’s to waiting for the second season!

I strongly believe that there will be a 2nd season. A friend of mine in Japan read all of the light novels and when I talked about him regarding the anime adaptation, he said that there’s still a lot of events that will take place after ep 24 that there are a lot of materials to use for a 2nd season.

I was saying the same thing. I understood everything that was going on till the last episode. I dont get how people where getting lost and didnt figure how the battle started between the two. I even posted the same exact thought in the last 2 episodes. People really need to pay attention to detail =P But they did wrap up/pack everything into this last ep which 2 more eps could of been a whole lot better.

Wow talk about rushed, its like they wanted this to be a 50+ episode anime, and then went from the middle to the end in 3 episodes.

And i had such high hopes for this anime to, it was so good through the begining and middle.

Erm,I think its a suicide to animate the DYD novel till the ending since it would take…more than 2 or 3 years to truly complete the series…My head nearly explode just by reading one volume of it.There’s SOOOOOOOOooooooooo much to read.

What I wrote just now is kinda messed up due to confusion after reading those massive amount of WORDS from DYD and DDYD novel.The
DYD is already completed.If there would be a prequel anime,the title should be Dai DYD and since the anime producers are “desperately” looking for ideas..They should try to consider to animate the prequel novel but they need to make it 26 episodes or they just gonna…ruin this epic story..I hope the prequel anime can get better rating than Code Geass Lelouch Rebellion Series.

This anime turned out to be kinda boring overall. *sigh*.

Btw I really liked this anime. Hope there will a second season. And I don’t get people who said this is boring/not understandable.
