mang this story is freaking slow. So they go to the K tournament, and what? What has happpened to get there, nothing but rubbish.

I agree the story is stalling a little, this is most likely due to them waiting for the manga to finish the Koshien arc.

Even with the current pace I’m finding this to be a good show. Much better than the current breed of shows like Chu-Bra (*shudders*).
BTW, given that this show has around 51 episodes, would the remaining 10 episodes do justice to the story presented in the manga or would these people adopt the wrap-the-show-as-fast-as-you-can strategy?
