No, now for real: Megaupload has different servers with each upload the file gets placed on one of those servers. If you e.g. re-upload it is very likely to get placed on another server where you would have another full speed server – you could test by just trying to download other files from MU which are on one of the other servers.

Btw.: It is far better this week than two weeks before (I believe it was two weeks ago) because that time you didn’t get nearly any download speed at all :)

e.g. the here available (just one news down) “Allison & Lillia Episode 16″ seems to be even on the same MegaUpload server (just different filename) and there I have full download-speed (the maximum my internet connection can reach which is about 2MBit/s that might not be that good as some others internet connection is but still far better than the current Code Geass R2 Ep23 download speed.

@darkcosmos: Did you try changing the filename you wanted to upload or using another container format?
e.g. you could get the video easily out of the .mkv and reinsert it in a .mp4?

For those who want AVI I mostly work at the mainsite zomganime now so sometimes I convert mkvs to avi but the avi is pretty bad quality. Want? Also @ghost_zero5 I will do that

argh. I’ve been trying to d/l for an hour now. My first one was really slow, but failed (my fault). I’m trying it again and it’s giving me 40-50 kB/sec and then dying. I second the suggestion for mirrors. Just change the filename and re-upload onto MU. Please.. that would be really great.

Already thought so. It is very likely doing a checksum check first… So renaming wouldn’t help. Only thing that might work would be changing the container format – therefore no re-encoding should be needed so it should be fast too but well: It is a bit more effort to do this so…

Well I think Veritas is better but that could be because I’ve seen the name already a couple of times. Veritas is easier to read yet Xire is shorter and is almost like Sire. Which I don’t really enjoy.
Well that’s my opinion anyway. ;)

Has Any1 seen the OVA “Voices of a Distant Star” ? im just browsing through the internet and people say its very good?

I’ve seen it, and I did like it a lot. I like most of Makoto Shinkai’s works they are usually amazing (5 Centimeters per Second, etc).

Yeah, it does. it said “download failed”, but underneath that there’s a “download” button. clicked that, it started at 8000 b/s (LOL) but picked up to my average speed (whilst im downloading like 6 other things at the same time) of around 130 kb/s in less than a minute.

H.264 works for me (FileFront), I’m not sure if they allow apps like IDM (Internet Download Manager), at least it failed for me when I tried to download it with IDM.
