oshimai means ”the end” or ”the closing” while owari simply means finish
Either there might be a new series or OVAs or he marking defenetly the end (Im not that gd in jap yet; (dah) still need sub lol)

A good episode. It proves that Kyoto Animation could easily make something like “Clannad – Before Story”, no more than a 13 episode series, showing characters day-by-day until Tomoya meets Nagisa in the sakura trees hill.
