I get 500kb/s(sometimes 800kb/s) on megaupload and only 300kb/s on netload.in =S

I got another file named “[D-R]_Chaos” using megaupload, seems that the ‘;’ in the file name is confusing something. :p
The sub has a few problems about 10 minutes in as well (some lines aren’t subbed, and the grammar quality takes a nosedive). But it’s watchable, can’t complain too much :)

I wish w.3.3.w would release it subs faster Im not a fan of D-R

rename file “[D-R]​_Chaos;Head​_-​_06​_[h264​_1280x720][3C2D4C93].mkv” remember to add”.mkv” for some reason on MU drop “.mkv” and can’t by played from this reason.

Yeah, I know how to do that (wouldn’t have been able to watch last week’s episode either otherwise). :p I was just saying that maybe renaming the file and losing the ‘;’ would cause less confusion.

@Jinn: What’s so confusing? Everything after the ‘;’ seems to be cut off from the file name when you download from Megaupload. This could be avoided by renaming the file and removing the ‘;’ before uploading it. That way there won’t be people asking why the file doesn’t work. Simple, or am I the only one who sees this?

I do not deny Opera’s speed, but have you tried the new 3.1 beta for Firefox, or better yet Minefield? Crazy speed, especially in javascript with the new Tracemonkey engine. Some of us can’t live without these extensions.

Woah… I even got m.3.3.w’s crazy fonts working… but they release their own hard-subs right… well, finally learning how to do this crap was fun.

hmmmm. Kay! seeing as im bored (xD) i might just reencode m33w’s mkv into mp4 :) even though they give you an Avi… i think i can make the quality better than their avi :) if not then well who knows… so now all i have to do is wait for their release xD!!!! Tsumaranai!!!

ok so i went and downloaded Booyadude’s Avi to see the quality.. i expected more becuase of the file size but then i realized that your audio was 320kb/s and the video only 580kb/s … Shocking!!! i know… from my exp. with encoding 320kb/s for audio is !!!! xD!! i can make a 64kb/s mono mp3 sound exactly the same where the audio alone is 10mb+-

well maybe im just big mouth myself but I guess il give it a shot… im doing a test with [D-R]’s release and making a mp4.. il post that too :) if it looks bad not posting it xD!!!

Okay, I made a mistake or two, but look at those properly rendered subs! My mind was blown when I figured out how to do it. Also the aspect ratio is correct. Apparently the thing just doesn’t want to re-encode the audio. I’ll have to figure out why it isn’t working. Alsp, no, you can’t make mono sound like stereo. It just can’t be done.

*Figured out the problem*

Unfortunately, I have a very round-about way of doing it. I’m sure there’s a better way, especially since it involves two lossy re-encodes, but I try to keep as much quality as I can.

1. Re-mux sans subtitles with mkvmerge
1a. De-mux subs with mkvextractorgui
2. Re-encode with super to xvid.avi (as high quality as I can get)
3. Re-encode with AutoGK (with subs)

I know it’s a terrible way of doing things but hey, it provides good proper subs, and that’s what was bothering me about other re-encodes here.

i also have to re-encode twice :) no loss tho :D :D :D (i hope) stil busy with last encode XD

I meant each step you go through, but apparently you are using “sereral”. What’s that? And if you “Convert” to lossless, then there is no quality loss. How in the world are you converting an mkv to avi without converting it?

I’ve got skype. Just because it doesn’t have converter in the name doesn’t mean it is ANY better, they are all working of the same codecs.
