That’s because you keep using VLC, which is shit.

Your using vlc. I blame vlc – vlc is shit.

if vlc is such shit then what do you suggest as a replacement?

Google Combined Community Codec Pack. It’s a pretty thorough codec compilation and comes with a player called Media Player Classic. I had a lot of different problems with VLC through the years, but MPC has never once crashed or caused me any problems like subs failing to display.

It’s true that Media Player Classic solves the crash problem that vlc has (i got the same problem on my end). But there’s a strange off sync in sound and video with a lot of the new animes I watch these days, and only vlc solves that problem for me.
Btw, are those two waitresses at the beginning of the anime new characters? Idk which series they are from if they appeared in other series before.

Not that I have noticed off sync in sound and video with recent anime using Media Player Classic, Media Player Classic can offset the sound so you can resync it by delaying or speeding it up by x time.

Tested on VLC 2.0.5 and it’s working fine no crashes and on MPC no off sync in sound and video problems encountered….

When the 2 waitresses are being introduced, it gets stuck but the audio keeps going, im using vlc and it updated, my pc is also pretty high end gaming machine(not bragging bout it} . Is this happening to anyone else?

@Werb I’m using both Windows Media Player and Media Player Classic. Yes, I have that lag and desync on that part as well (and the cellphone XD).
