what a great way to start the day. I love me some bleach and the new trailer shows his awesome new transformation. I bet he has a few more transformations in-stored even after that 1. Bleach is the new DBZ =D Well I might be exaggerating just a bit =P

@violatedjaded
Well, Bleach may be awesome now, but it’ll eventually turn to shit. That’s the difference with Dragonball Z and Bleach. While Bleach will eventually suffer, DBZ never did. The entire DBZ series was awesome, from beginning to end :D

@FlamingDogs

You have a point. I know when you mean it will turn to shyt; you are talking about when the series is over it may eventually be completely forgotten. That may also be true. The only reason why DBZ has a better lasting leverage is because the storyline grew with us. At a time where there werent anime such as DBZ, DBZ had a base/foundation. They gave us DB. Goku was mysterious because he had a tail and super human strength but no story behind it and as time went by everything started to add up & then you find out about his potential powers and enemies. Plus he gave everyone the idea if you never give up you can always become stronger. Plus DBZ was ahead of its time. Growing up and seeing energy blasts and the 1st time him going super saiyan was something you never seen on any anime before. The fights were intense. Bleach is still good hence why I said I may be exaggerating a bit =P But since DBZ is not producing something new Bleach is sort of like the new DBZ in which I mean character build up. Ichigo went from plane and ordinary to so many stages in his character development and build up and skills. If you closely watch the episodes you’ll notice he became ripped and sculpted through the series. Plus out of a lot of the anime thats out currently; I’ll have to say this has 1 of the best fight action scene sequence & storyline which makes absolute sense and doesnt just jump around important details. That’s just my opinion =D

@FlamingDogs

Wrong, the only reason dbz has survived this long is because they have released it 500 times over.

Mind you, it’s still one of the best animes ever, once you’ve seen it 50 times it gets ridiculous.

But it’s like violatedjaded said, dbz did it first, so nothing will ever compare to it’s greatness, but bleach has done a very good job nonetheless.

It’s not. It’s almost done. Two more Arc (Manga). Not sure they’ll continue it after this one. What with the new law in Japan passed.

Aneki Says:
December 15th, 2010 at 8:27 pm

@Azu What law?

Velorien Says:
December 15th, 2010 at 11:31 pm

Aneki, Google Japan manga law.

Azu, Bleach may feature dubious attire at times, but it’s not ecchi. As far as I can tell, they haven’t cracked down on manga violence just yet.

Basically prohibits any kind of sexual material in non 18+ material.

Meaning that stuff like Berserk, and other seninin mangas could be affected. They are meant for adults, but aren’t listed as 18+ for sales reasons. (I believe in japan 18+ material can’t be sold in any place that a minor can get them)

Others that could be affected Kenichi, MSN, pretty much any Japanese material that exhibits any kind of sexual content.

Though, they are saying it’s probably going to be one of those laws that is rarely enforced, due to Japanese animation being a good source of income to the country.

The Top 10 biggest companies have already said they don’t care, and they will continue to publish their authors works as is.

I doubt it affects hentai since they are labeled 18+…I think, but I believe loli like material has been put to death.

sigh
