I don’t like the animation, they’re actually using real photos for animation and that sucks, it loses the essence of what it is to be anime.

hahaha i know what u mean deuchems** but being a Tsundere character and then switching it within the second episode is just abnormal XD i mean if they’re going to start with something they have to finish it like how they started it… they can have a happy ending like how in zero no tsukaima but come on this is just sad and they really have to change their style and taste i hate seeing fucking newspapers in anime and lets not forget those awful snap shots of real people its like their trying to make us hate anime hahaha

It’s called “a different artistic approach” If everything was done just like everything else, wouldn’t life become boring? They’re taking a slightly different approach in animating this series, and I like it.

TiagoCT: So, I take it this is the first time you seen this style? SHAFT does this beautifully and it really makes their unique work stand out against the average “character’s face on average anime background” approach that the majority of studios these days are taking. Whatever work is cut from the drawing department is doubled and put into the stylization and originality departments, and all for the better I say.

Hi Booyadude, I have to agree with you. It does give it a unique look. And yes this is my first time watching this kind of animation.
Actually, to say the truth I can’t imagine this kind of anime with normal animation. Well, at least not after watching it like this.
But even so, I dont hate it but I don’t like it either, I’m in between right now.
I dunno maybe I’ll come to like it in the future. Who knows, right?
