on anidb, it shows tsubasa cat as 5 parts, but I have no idea if they coincide since pem is using letters. oh well, download and we’ll see…

Tsubasa Cat may very well be in 5 parts, but this has nothing to do with this episode being split up. We’ve already seen parts 1-4, pem is just being a cunt.

There are 5 parts total, with times ranging from about 5-10min each, though heavily laced with ads for the DVD releases. Hope they dub this in America and somehow (like a work of magic) do it right.

Somehow I’ve never header a dub done right.. All those I’ve heard sounds more or less like the way germans dubbed american movies in the old days (I’m not sure if they still do it though..) in comparison to the real thing.

A good eng dub would be good on this one. But I’d way rather have the novels translated in the states. NisiOisin is a freaking genius. I’ve read all of the little bit he has translated in the US, and they are all superb. The second Volume of Zaregoto just came out a couple of weeks ago, and it’s amazing. I’ll be waiting for a proper release, not this speed sub show off crap.

You will wait for ages, literally. Coalgirls are up to 12 and will translate BD release, more likely taking their time, same thing with Koharubi. I won’t expect any other subs of this release beside pem (because none other group actually cares about bakemono).

D seems to be the last part, watched it and it makes sense that way as well.

Also a little disapointed with how it ends, but still enjoyed it as a whole. will definately buy this show at some point as i expect an english release, that said it will probably either look horribly subbed, or horrible english dub.

Shaft would be pretty dumb to not animate the sequels or prequel novels considering how ridiculously well this series sold.

And the reason the series never ended on TV was because Shaft bought 12 episode slots, after setting up the episodes thoguh they decided that 12 wasn’t enough to do the series justice so they decided to do 15 and do the last 3 online. Of course Shaft sucks at getting things done in a reasonable fashion which is why it took us months to get the last 3 eps.

about the english dub… it’s not going to happen for bakemonogatari. the problem with bakemonogatari is that a lot of the jokes and story revolve around kanji worldplay and things like that, and most of that won’t make sense if translated into english. which means that the only way to fully enjoy bakemonogatari and get all the inside jokes and stuff is to know japanese and kanji pretty damn well, cause they use a lot of hard ones. which pisses me off since i speak and understand japanese pretty well, but my kanji is.. -_- so an english dub wouldn’t really work out well, and they aren’t going to try it

If you guys enjoyed this series, I would highly recommend watching Arakawa Under the Bridge! It’s from the same production studio and the story/characters are just as great!
