Like cri7ica1z, this file didn’t work for me. I tried SMPlayer, KMPlayer, and VLC. The best I could get was the audio. Did I do something wrong?

CostlyAxis; thanks I had been having trouble playing it too… was searching around for codecs in case I was missing one or had an out of date version or something but media player classic would have worked all along and does so now :)

Any possible way to get this running on a macintosh? Mac forums said that it isn’t possible to port Media Player Classic on to OSX and VLC is the only decent media player I have. Unfortunately, I only get the audio whenever I open it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as usual.

The creator of this is also working on a different anime called ‘Katanagatari’ which explains the delay. That is the only reason I know of personally, so there may be others. At any rate you should check it out.

On Mac OSX the best option is MPlayer OSX Extended. It’s the ultimate player. Try it.

And the delay is SHAFT bussines. NisioisiN has nothing to do with the aniem production LOL

I’m not an idiot, I already knew the raw was streamed from the website, I also knew it wasn’t HD or would be high quality, because that’s the only source was the stream on the website.

I am also aware I can’t download the stream to remux it because of region lockouts.

So obviously my problem with the encode isn’t the resolution. But how it was encoded, The video stream claims to be FLV4, but yet it’s not being decoded, by anything other than a directshow player.

Quirriff: If you know it is only available by stream, then why in god’s name do you think you can get a different raw than the streamed video and audio, which this file contains, to remux with?

It claims to be FLV4 because it is FLV4. The fact that mplayer, which uses the same library to decode flash video that MPC(both internally and when linked with CCCP/K-lite/most codec packs), does not negate reality. It only means that your player can’t decode it, due to a bug, improper setup, or many other possibilities, not that there is a problem with the file.

uhmmm…. I actually have some problem too… it seems that the video playing rate is faster than normal, while the audio has no problem. I checked it, and this is the result : i played it for 5 minutes (looking at my clock), and the mplayer time shows just the exact time. but the strange thing is, if i stop the video, and skip it to time 05.00 (minutes), it showed a different scene! so, if i play it normally, the video is going faster by 105% rate than it should be. this is after testing it on 1,2,3,4,5,10,20 minutes.

so, the scene on 01.00 is supposedly showed in 01.03

02.00 in 02.06

03.00 in 03.09

04.00 in 04.12

10.00 in 11.00

and 20.00 in 22.00

and what is stranger, it suddenly normal when the opening song started, and it was going faster again.

you can tell me an idiot, as i am, but can anyone help me solve this? please, and thank you.
