qIIq subtitled EVERYthing. almost to the point of over saturation I also felt that they subs while very accurate weren’t always placed well, so I’d expect a v2. It’s very fast paces and found myself pausing and rewinding over and over to catch things that went by too fast to read and the overly fancy visual design didnt help with comprehension. Actually did this remind anyone else of Soultaker? lots of fancy writing and camera angles, artistic use of shadows and negative space… even character designs looks similar.

There was a subtitle while they were on the bike that pops up and disappears before you can read it, the layers used to cover some of the japanese with english were offset and bleed out over the artwork, that’s why I’d say they might consider a v2. If they dont then fine, it’s not unwatchable, but I dont know if I’d exactly recommend it over anyone else’s version. I went back and looked at the anon sub and while they didnt subtitle everything I felt their writing in many places felt a lot more natural, not the most professional but less awkward in some places than qIIq.

I thougt to do a blu ray version with the gg subtitles but this didn’t work, there were around 400 lines missing( I’ve checked it out direct on the title page of hitaragi crab the chapter nummer nummer with the cut name missing)in the gg release also some translations of signs. And the blu ray version was 12 seconds longer.
