I’m liking 07Ghost, cuz I’m a Dattebayo fan and the action hooked me, even if I usually don’t go for pseudo-European uniforms and settings and moe nuns.

I’m liking Phantom because I like guns and action and Noir and memory-wiped killers; Gunslinger Girls, anyone? I was hooked right off the bat by the references to Tarantino and Black Lagoon. I wish Ein looked more like Revy.

I’m watching Higashi no Eden, but don’t know if I like it yet. I kinda thought they miscast Howl in the lead role… and the girl’s too damn cute and dumb. But the science fiction and mystery keep me watching.

Sports? I like the visual creativity in Basquash!, leaning heavily on Macross F influences, but I simply love Cross Game, which is looking to be better than Touch. But Saki’s high quality and yuri aren’t enough to keep me watching a show about mah-jongg.

I usually go for historical anime with katana (Samurai X Trust & Betrayal, my number one of ALL TIME), but I think Sengoku Basara plays like they want to make it into a live action starring Gackt.

I like environmental themes and sci-fi so I wanted Shangri-La to be great – loved the opening, she puts her schoolgirl uniform on to be released from prison, and I WANT her weapon, but the series is beginning to lose me…

Still undecided about Tears to Tiara, has plusses and minuses, but to my shock, Pandora Hearts is pulling me in. It’s the first Alice knockoff that’s done so.

Asura ecchi, no interest. Hanasakeru seishounen’s guys are pretty, but it’s kinda dumb; may go rewatch Ayashi no Ceres instead if they don’t liven the story up. I can’t believe anyone, male or female, is watching Queen’s Blade.

Haven’t seen enough of others yet to make any kind of call.

Anyway, I agree that it is rather pointless arguing, but I do find it interesting to see other peoples reasoning/reactions, which is why I made my views come across from a rather narrow-minded viewpoint.

Please give a reasoned arguement as to why I am wrong, rather than blatantly denying them without much basis. All I have seen so far is insults, not reasoning. :D

I guess tayutama should be down a notch. Characters were more enthusiastic than interesting, and plot is rather on the typical/mediocre side of things. But I still found it more watchable/interesting than tears/pandora so far, and higepiyo episodes are like 5 minutes so it doesn’t really compare either. Perhaps I should have made another tier, but it was at the lower end of the tier I put it in anyway. Saki would probably go in the tayutama tier too, however I can’t help but enjoy this series more than I should. :X

As for natsu no arashi, I definitely consider it above basara and phantom (not in terms of animation, but in terms of uniqueness/plot/characters). If I wanted to be pesimistic I’d say basara was dragonball z meets dynasty warriors, with even more machoistic airheaded, bigoted males speaking their own morals and views to each other, disagreeing, then the fireworks start. Combine that with an almost non existant plotline….. But that would probably be getting carried away, so I’ll just say it’s not my thing. :X

Phantom, as above, I just found boring/mediocre, although I will watch episodes 3 and 4 later to see if anything more happens.
