Great another homosexual (literally) anime from clamp…at least it looks like clamp, I didnt verify that. They are wearing retarded fantastical uniforms that would be in the fantasies of a 13 year old girl who watched bad movies while she grew up in the 80’s. There are strong Homo-erotic overtones between the two male leads. The environment is like those painted on black velvet by fantasy/sci-fi artists in the 80s…You know the kind that link to paint dragons, unicorns, and future cities made out of weird geometric and phallic shiny metal/glass towers that are completely non-functional. Even the airplanes have a bunch of spikes, ornaments, and dildos on them that look to serve no functional purpose other than making the machine look like it could never fly and belongs in someones ideas of the future from the 70’s/80s. The bad guy in their training is wearing a unitard and an eye patch (how bad-ass!). All the males have the bodies of female run-way models of today.

Basically if you wanted to know what a teenage girl who has no friends would picture as her fantasy world it would be this; spikey shiny buldings, flashy clothes with embroidered patterns and gold, and royal prince/king/queen themes everywhere. Everything is gaudy and tasteless. The two male leads are always flirting and one wants to share the others bed for fun.

This show epitomizes everything that I hate about clamp. It’s style is identical to Code Geass, and by that I mean it has the style of a fantasy/sci-fi mix from the 1980’s. Think the neverending story, labyrinth, black crystal, space balls, all bad sci-fi from the era.

God clamp is so awful that when people like it, it makes me want to kill them. I am not trolling, I am trying to save you from your gay and tasteless side.

this show is slightly generic. but its pretty watchable. looks pretty good and the action was decent. ill give it a few more episodes. it could go either way.

From the comments I read I was expecting some all-boys school slice of life romance but I’m glad it’s not. This series has some impressive BGM but I felt most of them could have been executed a bit better for some of the scenes this episode and I did get a bit of Shounen Ai vibes from the bed scene after the graduation exam.

Anyone else think the school uniform looks similar to the Ashford Academy one (for Code Geass fans)?

Oh right my interpretation of what he asked was wrong XD But it’s not that bad really, I can’t think of many examples of what’s comparable cause it isn’t of a disturbing standard at all. To be honest I only noticed a few of them. Even say… prince of tennis (Probably not the best example but I can’t think of anything close) would have been worse in that factor if my memory of it is correct. XD

And booya I wouldn’t say it is a generic show overall, but rather certain aspects are draw heavily on other series, at least for the first episode. It has yet to be proven whether that is a good or bad thing for this series though :X

Also at yuki no hell no, I wouldn’t be near this page otherwise. :)
